African Dance by Kit 8JD
Considering the “amateur” dancing in general, the Year 8 class of 25 pulled off a great performance, thanks to the help of African Dance teacher. At first, he gave them a simple rhythm to follow, along with some simple moves. Naturally, the dancing became more complicated to follow but due to his method of teaching, the class easily kept up. It therefore makes sense, that because of their enthusiasm, it is not getting the better of them and because their efforts were successful, year 8 students Ross and Emily both said “ yeah it was really good and fun.”

This day has given year 8 here at Hinchley Wood more of an understanding of Africa’s culture and next year. If our relationship with the Gulu school in Uganda continues, which I'm sure it will, our year 7s will hopefully share our wonderful experience.
