A Taste of Africa
As I walked down the Art block, I could smell the aromatic fragrances of the North African spices flowing through air. My nostrils flared up as I entered the Food tech room. I walked around taking looks at the progress they were making on their North African cuisine. Cous cous, and a chickpea dish will go on top of it. Going with that is a vegetable tagine. Mrs Davies added that “Vegetable tagine is abit like a curry, its got lots of spices which come from that region”.
Continuing walking around the room, I spoke to some boys cooking as they were just about to start up frying the onions. They said half the ingredients they were using they were using they had never used before. |
I then decided to do one last interview, so I went over to a group of girls who were chopping their vegetables, they really enjoyed doing it and a boy then showed me him eating a chilli.
So the African cooking looked like it went down a treat and everyone seemed to enjoy it! |
